Ok - I have seen posting saying this room does not have a sofa. But then again I have seen a YouTube video showing it with a sofa. Does anyone know for sure:confused:

While I cannot say for 100% certainty that it does, I am almost 100% sure it does. For one, all standard-shaped balcony rooms, which this one is, have sofas. Not all of those sofas are allowed to be beds that a 3rd person can be booked into, but there is still a sofa in there. Another reason is this write-up on room 8450 on goccl:

 

 

Cabin 8450 8N 185/60 sq ft

Beds: twin/king-single sofa bed (CQ GL VA)

Beds: twin/king (FD LI)

View: window and extended balcony connecting balconies: 8452

Bathroom: shower-toilet-sink

Freedom is one of the 2 ships in the Conquest class where this room is not allowed to book a 3rd person into the room. But a sofa is still listed in the room features. All 5 ships have the sofa, but only 3 of the ships can book a 3rd person into it.

 

Another possible source of confusion could be that the room right next to this one, 8448, which has a huge wrap-around balcony, does not have a sofa in the room. This room is not standard shaped. The huge balcony is the draw to these rooms. Perhaps someone was thinking of this room when they said that there was no sofa.

I had this cabin on the Liberty and there was a sofa. Loved the balcony.
