Taxi from port to Magen’s Bay is per person charge?

They charge you per person on the island? So if I have a family of three it's going to cost each of us the same to get there?

 

So if it's 10 per person its a 60 dollar there and back fare?

Yes, all taxi fares are per person. There is a slight discount if there are two or more in your party. Driving taxi is a protected line of work in the Caribbean. ;)

Do I need to worry about being ripped off then or if what you said is the case I don't need to worry so much like in some countries?

Some places are still per taxi 1-4 costs no more, like in San Juan.

 

The per person thing sometimes seems like a bit of a rip-off.

Our ride was $8 per person.... We are a family of 4. $64 round trip + tip to go to Magen's. The beach also charges something like $5 per adult.
