Getting Back to the Ship

So if we are in port from 8am to 4pm, what time do we need to be back on the ship? 4pm or 2pm (as NCL says we need to be boarded 2 hours prior to departure)?

The two hours before departure just applies to embarkation day. I really wish NCL would sort out the wording, as people ask this question regularly on here, so I imagine loads of people are confused by it.

You usually need to be onboard 30 minutes before sailing, so 3.30 in up your case.

Thank you. I am trying to plan out my day in St. Thomas. Thinking about doing Kon Tiki in the morning, and then attempting flyboarding in the afternoon. I was trying to figure out if I would have enough time to do both, without stressing.
