Freedom of the Seas - Deck 10. Would you move from Deck 7?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any experience staying in a stateroom on Deck 10 of Freedom of the Seas? We are currently booked into a K on Deck 7 in room 7657 but I see that 1561 is available on deck 10. I like to be higher up but I notice that pools are on deck 11. It looks like this stateroom might be under the solarium?

Both are near an elevator which we want. We sailed on the Oasis in Nov and our stateroom was a GTY and it ended up being almost exactly 1/2 way between the elevators. It was a long hike :)

7657 is aft but closer to mid ship that forward 1561.

Do any of you have a preference? Would you move?

Thanks in advance :)

Given the choice, I'd stay with the cabin on deck 7. 1561 is under the solarium, and at the opposite end of the ship from most of the amenities. 7657 is a quick jaunt down the stairs to dinner, the promenade, and the casino, and straight up the elevators to the pool and windjammer.

If I had to choose, I believe I'd stay with Deck 7. I can't remember which Royal Ship I was on where our cabin was on the deck below the pool. It wasn't terrible, but we did hear the sounds of the pool deck chairs being moved and stacked in the evening. Then, we heard it all over again early each morning.
