Since we do not have a plane to catch after our cruise, we wondered how late we could stay on Magic before they kicked us off. Does anyone know?

It's going to vary slightly depending upon when you return. But usually by 10/1030 am or so they will be ushering off the last passengers. They are trying to get everything clean for next batch and I have boarded as early as 1130. So not much turn around.

I agree with the previous post. 10:00-10:30 time frame. They like to start the boarding process ASAP. We have boarded while people were still being processed through customs.

When we sailed Magic last April, we had a very late flight from Hobby so we wanted to stay on the ship as long as possible. At 10:30, the cruise director came on the PA and asked the last 118 of us to please get off the ship. We laughed, then we left.

 

Side note, when we got to customs, we had passports and were directed to a line to the left. There were fewer than 20 of us. In the birth certificate line, there must have been 300+ people. I can't imagine how long it took the last person to get processed.

They will shut the buffet lines down fairly early. But the ice cream stations will still be up and running :D

When they start paging you to get off the ship, you have probably overstayed your welcome.:D:D

Personally I thnk after about 9:30 is stretching things, bear in mend that the next batch of passengers are waiting to board, and remember how you felt waiting to get on.

In long beach, I've seen people getting off at 11 AM, delaying our platinum early boarding.
