I missed you too. Your such a nice person.

Glad you are safe and sound.

I/we had a WONDERFUL time in Nice, France.

Great room with french doors to the balcony.

Open them every morning to see the "beautiful" view of the SEA!

Could lay in the bed see the sea and in the evenings see the full moon!

We were overlooking the sea, just cross the street and we were there.

We were on the Promenade de Anglais.

Had a parade, fireworks and dancing for Bastille Day in front of our hotel.

Viva la France!

We went sightseeing to different french towns. Even took a cruise to

St. Tropez. Five hour cruise and five hours looking around. Took a bunch of different tours around Nice. Besides that we walked someplace almost

everyday. With all the eating, didn't gain..know because of the walking.

Wish I could do that much walking at home, know I can but it's not as much

fun as it is there!

France has wonderful parks, old buildings, wonderful flower markets..

that sell everything besides flowers.

The hotel and people were very nice, they loved this "American Girl", they thought I was so nice! Like some people here that think some French people aren't nice, think some there have the same idea about Americans. I

changed their minds..they thought I was so sweet. (they don't know the real me) LOL Think for any country, you treat them with respect, try to say

even a few words in their language and they treat you with respect too.

With my little french, and there little english we got along fine.

Hotel had entertaiment every night, in French of course, loved the music

and songs. Some nights was harder to understand but I loved everything.

Had a dance every week, we stayed till they closed.

The weather was hot while we were there..high 80's and 90's.

So I think you can tell I had a good time hated to come back.

Was back two days then went to the river for two weeks, home two

days had by surgery (see a pattern here) had the stiches out on Tuesday.

Haven't been on the board too much because it hasn't been working.

Now AREN'T YOU SORRY YOU ASKED ABOUT MY TRIP..I told you and didn't shut up! LOL

Now for you..how are you feeling, when I could read the board, sounds like

you were having trouble, also think you joined WW.

Wish you a good weigh-in and a good Holiday weekend.

Love Belle

Belle, your description makes me want to go to France. Sounds like you had an amazing time! I'm so glad you did. I thought about you often while you were away....wondering about how much fun you were having. BTW, how could the French not love you? You are a wonderful person. (I really mean that..sincerely.) I totally agree with you; treat people with respect and they will return it in kind. ;)

I guess your surgery went well? You seem upbeat...so that's good. I have no idea why you had surgery, but wish you a speedy recovery.

I'm doing well. I've had a few back issues, but it is something that I'm going to have to live with until it gets so bad that I'll have to have surgery. It is just a matter of time according to my neurologist. There are people far worse than me!

I did switch to WW because I wasn't getting anywhere with South Beach and felt I needed more accountability. Seems to be working, but slowly, which is fine. I'm not in any hurry. :)

Thanks for telling me all about your trip. I enjoyed reading it and could feel your enthusiasm. You're the best, Belle! :D
