Do you know if there is still a 20% discount if you prebook Illusionarium for the first day? Is this offered every cruise? Will it be a credit to your on board account??

Yes it will. They will refund you the original amount then recharge you the lower price. They will not refund the difference. Hope that helps.

The meal is not bad....surprisingly better than LeCirque, it's counterpart on the Epic....no choice....set menu if I recall correctly.....

Is it better to have banquet seating (what is banquet seating) or on the floor seating? We had floor seating for LeCirque on Epic and could not see anything.

It's much better to get there early for floor seats. Much better view than from the non floor seats.

We paid extra for the floor seating and arrived 45 min early. We had front row seats and my hubby did end up on stage!! We were not expecting great food after reading all the bad reviews. Well NCL must be listening because we had an amazing meal!! Best of the whole cruise.

We started off with some melon/prosciutto salad followed by the main course. You're right that there is a set menu of filet and shrimp plus sides but there is some wiggle room. Just off Getaway and agree the meal was much better (piping hot, too) vs. Breakaway and Epic (but hopefully that's no longer an issue).

 

One can order the eggplant parm instead (vegetarian option) and I asked for it with the shrimp. Delicious. They put a different color napkin to signify a special order. DH's request for filet rare also got a special napkin. Just read a review this morning with a mention of salmon (if you ask) which we didn't know about. Even before taking the order the servers ask if you have any food allergies or any special requests so very receptive to that.

 

Trio of desserts was OK.

 

To the OP, the show was very enjoyable and very glad we did it. We also went the 1st night. Gave us a chance to see other shows the other nights, too. We actually remembered a couple of the magic acts from years ago on other ships and they all did an excellent job.

We did get there about 40 min early and there was a short line already. We were in the first row next to stage. We did not wait to long b4 they opened the doors. They started beverage service and salads immediately.

I am confused. Booked show last night. I thought the extra charge was for the meal. Do all seats include a meal? I booked cagneys for later thinking no meal was included. Sailing April 11

Dinner is included. The extra cost is preferred seating! We had the best steak and shrimp you definitely will not need cagneys later!

Our bill for 2 adults was 59.98. Floor seating.

 

I did not notice a place to sit down.

Thanks - I will cancel Cagneys. We have the premium dining and the show is free with it on the 1st night but it wouldn't let me do floor seating at the free cost. Do you think it is possible to just pay the difference in the ticket to get floor seating or would we have to pay the whole thing?

I have no idea! We did not do the dinning package. I did not hear anyone complain that they could not see! The dome is a little overrated in my humble opinion.
