Horseback riding on the beach?

My 16 year old daughter has wanted to ride a horse on the beach during our last 2 cruises. None of the rest of the family is that excited about it but we'd like to do something special for her. The ship has a 3 hr ride but we're wondering if there's anything right on one of the beaches that we could do for no more than an hour. Does anyone know of anything?

I know of one in St. Thomas that looks amazing. I couldn't do it because my son is too young.

I would be careful about horseback riding in St. Maarten. This was a horrifying experience for my son & I.

yikes... thanks for sharing. my daughter has only ridden a few times and these are the types of things that really scare me, but *she* doesn't seem to think about :)
