Only if you agree to pay more if the price increases.

NCL will usually allow yo to upgrade to a higher cabin category (and pay the difference when the price is higher) after final payment, for example from a balcony to a suite.

 

If the price of the price is lower for a high tier cabin, than what you paid a lower tier one, and you wish to upgrade after final payment, I'm not sure what NCL would do in that case; perhaps charge you what the rate was of the higher tier cabin on final payment date?

 

Bottom line is that if you are after final payment date, you need to call and discuss your options. Be polite, not demanding, especially if you are simply looking for the price drop you discovered. Call... expect nothing since you are entitled to nothing, and be grateful for whatever it is you are offered. Typically, most folks seem to be offered a few dollars in on-board credit to keep them happy.

I went through this yesterday as the price on the epic dropped over $400. They upgraded to the spa balcony which still cost more than I paid but they didnt charge me. They said if there was no upgrades then theyd give OBC but I dont know how much.
