NCL Getaway vs. RCCL Oasis with Tween

I have taken my 11 yo dd on 3 cruises, the last two of which were on NCL Breakaway which she loved. I am planning a 2016 cruise (when dd will be 12) and am contemplating either Getaway or Oasis based on itinerary. While dd loved Breakaway, and I have been happy with NCL, I am wondering if Oasis might be better for her with more tween activities. It looks like RCCL groups ages 12 to 14 together, whereas NCL would have dd in the 10-12 group.

Anyone have thoughts based on their experience?

Thanks!

Would you and your DD be more comfortable with her around older kids or younger kids? Her maturity level and preference might be a deciding factor for me.

FWIW, my 13yo cousin LOVED Oasis (the different pools especially), but she also had older sisters to hang out with during the day.

Thanks for your reply. I guess that is what I am grappling with. I think she might like being with older kids, but that could backfire since she will be alone (although she usually makes friends easily). I am a little nervous about the Oasis set up because it looks like 12 year olds don't need to be signed out. If dd were with someone else, I would be ok with that, but by herself I wouldn't want her wandering the ship alone. I am curious about Oasis and have heard wonderful things, but I think I may stick with NCL since that is the known entity to me.
