Time Change on the Disney Magic Western Caribbean

We are going on the Disney Magic in a few weeks. I noticed reviewing the Daily Navigators that when you go to Cozumel, they ask you to switch your clocks. Other cruises we have been on we always stayed true to ship time. Is Disney different in this respect?

Not really. We've been on cruises (DCL and otherwise) where we changed time to match the ports, as well as ones where we stayed on "ship's time". Just need to keep an eye on the daily paper telling us what we're doing in each port stop.

 

It just depends on whether switching or not switching time zones works better for the ship/port.

We were on an RCI cruise in January to the Western Caribbean and we changed our clocks with the time zones.

MOST of the time, DCL has you change your clocks to match local time. However, there are some rare exceptions. If you just follow the instructions you are given, you'll be fine. You'll get multiple reminders--before the show in the evening, in the talk from your server at dinner, in the Navigator, and on the card left on your bed at night. If you miss all the reminders, you had too many adult beverages!:p

Just off Magic two weeks ago. We turned clocks back in Cozumel. Rest of ports were Eastern time.
