molly5673 Posted February 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Can you break up a pack of water so it will fit in my carry on easier? I looked and I can't find the answer.

Nic6318 Posted February 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2015 sometimes they will open the pack anyway just to check it....some people try to smuggle alcohol in water bottles so security will sometimes shake the bottles to evaluate what is in them
SlotCarKing Posted February 17, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Yes. We split our case between a few different bags to make it easier to carry.
danech Posted February 17, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2015 How many bottles per person are allowed? Just is carry-on bags, correct?
dd2355 Posted February 17, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) See http://www.carnival.com/CMS/FAQs/Liquor_and_Beverage_Consumption_Policy.aspx Statement is 12 bottles non-alcoholic beverage per person but I've not seen them count how many you have. Should be in your carryon per policy. I've filled a rollerbag with 20oz soft drink bottles, was actually under 24 total but they didn't count anyway. Security definitely opened the bag for a look but didn't really dig. We've had no issue bringing more non-alch beverages aboard when in port. Just soft drinks though, shipboard water is fine for us. Never felt the need to haul a bunch of bottled water around. Edited February 17, 2015 by dd2355

virginia beach girl Posted February 18, 2015 #8 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Can you break up a pack of water so it will fit in my carry on easier? I looked and I can't find the answer. I always take a case/24pack of water and put a luggage tag on it and it is delivered to the room. Works every time.
