Does anyone know if there are trust worthy private tour companies in Grand Caymen?

We've used Captain Marvin's (power fishing type boat) and also Captain Bryan's (catamaran) and both were reputable and well-run.

This is only for water tours? I was thinking about doing the stingray feeding and also the turtle farm.

Captain Marvin used to offer a "Sea & See Tour" that included the Tortuga Rum Factory, Hell, The Turtle Farm and then the boat ride out to the Coral Gardens and Stingray City for snorkeling & feeding the rays. Ask them if they're still offering it.

 

We had a great taxi driver that they had hired named something Bush. (I forget his first name.) He was great!

We really want to do a stingray city (for me) and an Island type tour (for DW). Does anyone know if any of the independant tours do both? We start tendering at 7:00 am and depart at 4:00 pm so time could be an issue. I have heard that the lines to get back to your ship can be long at Caymen.

Captain Marvins is fabulous!! Very friendly, informative, helpful guides. I would recommend him very highly. We had a great snorkling and stingray tour with Capt. Marvin. They are very honest and reputable.

The only down side with Capt. Marvin's is that they use a noisy fishing boat to get out to the sand bar. It's not a "sailing" experience at all, but it does get you to the sand bar faster than the catamarans, and then the rays are usually hungrier if you're first out there.
