Above deck 12 on the Dawn

We are booked in one of the family suites without a balcony (12510) on the Dawn. It looks like, according to the deck map, that it is slightly underneath Bimini Bar and Grill and or a walkway. The map is a bit confusing. Has anyone sailed on deck 12 in that area and how noisy does it get?

Only the section with jogging track has been reported to cause noise. Anything forward from there is fine, we had similar cabin on Star just by the elevator lobby and it there was no noise from above.

We were in 12010 a few weeks ago, which is just about in the same position on the other side of the ship. There was little or no external noise at all from above.

The Bimini bar and grill was not very well attended at any time we went up there and is an eating and drinking spot, not a party location.

What Demonyte notes is true. Only the first 5 cabins on each side are affected

by the noisy runners/joggers (and crew putting out deck chairs). I was on

the DAWN recently in 12030 (the number 2 cabin starboard forward of the pool deck)

and the noise was rather substantial at time with runners running through the

tunnel underneath the Bimini Bar - Deck 14.

Forward of this point the deck angles upward with stairs to the multi-level

observation sunning and hot tub platforms. Your cabin 10510 is port side in

that vicinity and should have no problem at all. Additionally with no balcony

you will not have the privacy issues that the balcony suites do. These are open

with viewing from Deck 13 above.

So go ahead and enjoy your huge suite with loads of floor space !
