Feeling crowded in August

It will be bad. In the olden days, when cruising wasn't really considered such a family vacation, it was easier to find loungers. I'm a happier cruiser if I know what to expect going into it, so that's why we always book at least a balcony or above. Personally, I need that quiet space to retreat. I'd suggest booking the biggest balcony or suite cabin you can. All depends on what you're cruising profile is.

There are many places to find a lounger... you will not have trouble. If you are overly concerned with it, there is also the Vibe Beach Club, an exclusive area that you must purchase a pass for, so you will always have a lounger available.
