2nd trip on NCL.

Hi Folks :)

 

We are booked on the Getaway next week and I have a couple of questions.

 

1. Does NCL serve Makers Mark Bourbon in the bars on board?

 

2. I have looked at several videos taken in the casino. It looks likes there are 2 craps tables there? Also, What time do they usually open the craps tables? It would be nice to play during the day on sea days.

 

3. Since NCL serves Pepsi products, Is it safe to assume they have Mtn Dew? Preferably diet Mtn Dew.

I have not yet been on the Getaway specifically, but I was able to get Makers Mark on the Epic so I assume they offer it on all their ships. There was two craps tables on the Epic as well, and I only ever saw one open. The times it was open were sporadic but it was listed on the table each day. They do serve Mountain Dew on the ship, but no Diet. Also I am not sure if they get the Dew from another country or something else is different, but my wife who drinks Mountain Dew all the time said it tasted very odd on the ship.

3. Yes to Dew, diet is not listed in the soda package list.

 

served as a fountain beverage, sometimes poured from a 2L bottle. I only drink the regular so I don't pay attention to diet offering, sorry.

 

2. Do an Advanced Search on the NCL thread for "Getaway dailies". Someone has posted them from a December trip and casino hours should show.

Definitely no Diet Mt Dew onboard, and I couldn't find it in Puerto Rico, St Maarten, St Thomas, or Tortola... they told me no one there drinks it so it's a waste for them to stock it... you can bring your own though!

On sea days if a gambling table is not open, ask them if they will open it. Usually they will.
