Ordering a cake on board

Anyone ever ordered one of the heart shaped cakes that they show on the website? I just have a feeling that it's dry or something. Need a 20th anniversary cake and I know I can't take one on

yeah, i don't know why you think that either lol. and just think - cakes don't travel well! just order one onboard, and make your life simpler! you can have it delivered in the dining room or to your stateroom.

Yeah one less thing to stress over. Lol. I'll order it and if it's not good I'll just go to guest services. It's my 20th anniversary and I just want things to be perfect.

I got one for our anniversary on Glory last October and neither my wife or myself liked it. Went in the garbage

If you know what real cake taste like , you will not want one of these. Ordered one for my daughters birthday . My grandson who we will call Mikey would not even eat it ..... Horrible

We did the sugar free vanilla for our anniversary and it was good! Not dry at all!

I ordered the chocolate cake for a birthday and it was delicious. Not dry at all! I'm not a fan of chocolate cake, but it was very moist.

All bake goods on the ship are made fresh daily. Dry? Where do you get this idea from?

we ordered a chocolate round cake for a friends birthday onboard. ordered it from the coffee shop, then they brought it out for us with candles and everything during dinner the next night. it fed 10 ppl and was amazing. and they can customize writing on it. good luck!

We had the chocolate one for my husbands birthday. delicious! Best dessert we had all week!! And it was so big we had to take it back to the room after dinner and eat it all week too!

You can put us on the list of really enjoying the cake. I ordered the small one for just under $10. We did the sugar free one and were very surprised. Moist and tasty.

Give it a try!! It's not dry at all. I actually ordered one for my husband and I for our anniversary. I like to do little things to surprise him, when it was delivered he thought it was a mistake. We had the chocolate one and it was really good, very moist. We got the smaller option of the 2 choices since it was just the two of us and struggled finishing it and I would definitely think about whether your stateroom has a fridge or not if you want it delivered there or to the MDR. BUT, So worth ordering!

Has anyone had any luck with changing it up when ordering onboard? My mom loves white cake with chocolate icing but they only offer white cake/white icing (strawberry filling) or chocolate cake with chocolate icing (chocolate filling).

yes i did for my sisters birthday and it was not dry it was actually quite smooth texture we had the chocolate with vanilla and it was nice shared it with some people we met on the ship :)

Well the reviews are about 50/50. Lol. I'll take my chances and order one. It's less stress

The only trouble is there is SOOO much food we would never enjoy it ha! We had a fruit basket last cruise and I think we had 1 banana out of it the whole week! LOL it wasn't that it wasn't good but we were just always so full!

We had it last week on the Fantasy- delicious! Well worth ordering.
