cruiseyesplease! Posted February 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2015 I have long poofy hair. Will the hair dryers on the Epic suffice or should I bring my own hair dryer?
Jemmi1218 Posted February 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2015 They were great! Worked just as good as mine at home. Best I've ever used in a cruise ship. Leave yours at home.
kenlyn Posted February 21, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2015 I have long poofy hair. Will the hair dryers on the Epic suffice or should I bring my own hair dryer? I was on last week and my dryer kept over heating and shutting off. It would cool a little and then I could turn back on. Took me a little longer to get ready.
cb at sea Posted February 21, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2015 I always bring what works for me....I like to look my best...and most hairdryers in hotels/ships etc...do NOT do the job properly! It's not the heat, but how strong it blows...hence "blow drying"...it's the blowing action that makes your hair look great!
Rollingstone43 Posted February 21, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2015 To be clear-I have next to know hair DW has average length that really needs a hair dryer before going out....the hairdryer in our suite drove her completely mad!! 15 seconds at a time I reckon! Took me a little longer to get ready. That happened to me once - I opened the cover and removed all the lint (with toothpick). I wrote that on comment card suggesting they check out all hairdryers and remove the built up lint.
PhilUK73 Posted October 19, 2015 #7 Share Posted October 19, 2015 Are they switch on off buttons or have you got to press and hold down the whole time?
ighten Posted October 19, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 19, 2015 The Hair dryers were fine though I recommend a mains extension.. The holder was so far from the outlet in our cabin you had to get in some strange positions to use it  or sit on the floor.
