Regal Princess handicapped room D422

We just got off the Emerald and had a handicap room on the Caribe deck. The Princess rep asked if we wanted twin or queen. They just put the two twins together for a queen size bed. Surely it's the same on the Regal.

We've had handicapped rooms in the past and yes the two beds went together. The site for this room states it can't be done, so I am questioning the layout ????
