Resort for a family of five?

We are looking for a resort to stay at for the day next week in Grand Cayman. We need one to shower and for food/drinks. Any recommendations? We dont want it to cost more than 10$ each.

Why do you need a "resort"? All of the beaches are public...all have chair/umbrella rentals, restrooms, food/drink nearby. The bus to 7 Mile Beach is $2.50 pp...

 

No resort is going to be that cheap.....you can shower back on the ship! Just dry off, and put your shorts over your swimsuit, and head back to the ship to clean up!

 

By the way...GC is expensive....a burger is going to cost around $8-10 US.....nothing is cheap in the Banking Capital of the Caribbean!

 

You could stay on the ship...it will be virtually empty on a port day...wouldn't cost anything extra! The pool would be yours and yours alone (or almost!!!)

I'm not sure if there are showers at Public Beach, but both Tiki Beach and Royal Palms (two of the beach clubs along Seven Mile Beach) have them.

Any resort (ie. hotel) is going to charge far more than $10 pp, and that's only if (and it's a big if) they are actually selling day passes that day.

The showers at Palms are outdoor. The really are just a rinsing off station. More than sufficient if you just want to get the sand and sunscreen off your body.
