cruiser fanatic Posted March 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2015 People sailing on the Elation in April of next year are receiving notices that they will now be moved to the Triumph. Elation will reposition to Jacksonville. Triumph will start sailing from NOLA on April 4, 2016.

Justyman87 Posted March 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2015 Going to San Juan initially Still don't get that... a fascination ship in San Juan, limited balconies, mostly ocean-view very interesting Carnival. Are they not selling well?

Are they not selling well? Don't know. But that's going to be one heck of an unfair competition. Royal has a Voyager ship and a Radiance class ship out of San Juan, and NCL is bringing a Jewel class ship next year.
jresn02 Posted March 3, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 3, 2015 How does the Elation compare to the Fascination. Puerto Rico is having all sorts of problems. Maybe this is the last stop before Fascination is sold?

No way I would do a Fantasy Class on a 7 nighter to Southern / Eastern Caribbean. Maybe this is CCL's way of pulling out of PR. They will claim it is due to "lack of interest", just like the unadvertised fun farewell party. :) That seems to be how they roll here of late. Maybe this is the last stop before Fascination is sold? What type of problems? Doesn't make sense. All other cruise lines seem to be doing pretty well there. That sorta doesn't make sense.
