bracy Posted March 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2015 We really want to take our boys to Hato Caves when we are in Curacao next month, so I have a few questions. What is the best way to get there and how much would that cost a family of 4? How long does it take to see the caves, plus travel time? We also plan on going to the floating bridge and market. We are there all day, from 7am to 11pm, so if we also decided to go to Kenepa Beach, what would be the best itinerary for us? Thanks to all who can give me direction. wdw1972 Posted March 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2015 I did Hato Caves followed by a walking city tour as a ship's excursion several years ago. As I recall, we were back from the caves by late morning. It's not terribly far (less than 30 minutes) and we probably spent an hour or so going through them, then about half-hour back. FuninWB Posted March 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2015 We did the Hato Caves in November. It was brutally hot in Curacao, and several people elected not to go in because of the heat. If you are taking children in, just be aware that it can be terribly stuffy and humid. The caves were very interesting, but I would try to go in the morning.
