XM Radio

I did take a poratble xm radio a few years ago to listen to college football, unfortunately, about 8-9 pm, we were so far out of range it stopped working. It only works on US based, or "aimed" sattelites from what I am told. No matter where I pointed it, it would not pick up. I had to sit on the top deck with it pointed back towards land to pick up that long. Hope this helps. This was an xm radio with a built in antenna. :D:D

What about connecting via internet?

You can connect via the internet and stream the available XM stations, however this would quickly get very expensive onboard (unless you have an unlimited internet package, which is also pricey)

Also depending on the speed of internet onboard the streaming may be slow and choppy. I don't really know as I never purchase onboard internet service, I enjoy being cutoff from real life for a few days on board.
