Priceline and Expedia question

Priceline: Is there anyway to set a filter so you know if your bidding on more then a 2 person room. There will be four of us and I don't want to wind up with a single king bed.

Expedia: Why don't they tell you what your buying? It doesn't seem sensible to spend countless hours trying to figure out the descriptions to a known winner. Are you buying the hotel room or are you bidding on it through Expedia?

Thanks in advance

Joel

With Priceline there is no way to guarantee that you'll get a 4-person room; better off with Hotwire or another site. Do some homework on the sticky on this board with recent winning bid info plus www dot betterbidding do com before trying Priceline.

Definitely don't use Pl for 4 people. If a two bed room isn't what they assign you, you will need to buy another room at the rack rate, not Pl rate of the original.

If you want to save money, use hotwire or even better, lastminutetravel.com which allows for cancellations.

Not sure what you are saying about expedia. There is no bidding there. If they have secret hotel deals, still no bidding.
