Jewelry tools aboard?

I enjoy making jewelry and the classes aboard. Never enough kit for everyone. I was thinking of bringing my own set aboard. Would these be allowed? (needle nose pliers, wire cutters, etc)

I have taken them on before. Make sure you have them with your beads and other jewelry making items.

Good advice...I am reminded when I was doing wire wrapped jewelry as a teenager and had them in my carry on. And was pulled to the side and searched by two of the security. Who then had a laugh at what they found.

If you pack them right, they'll never even know you have 'em. Put them in shoes, or with your hair appliances...clothes hangers....etc...

Really bad advice!!!!

 

DW has taken some of her kit in a small pouch with the beads etc. No problems.

 

Sneaking things on board is stupid.

Plenty of people at the two classes I attended on Vision had their own tools.

My wire snips were taken from me for the duration of our cruise on the Mariner. So, you never know.
