Ocean Plaza on Sunshine

Is the Ocean Plaza area smoky on the Sunshine? Do they play dance-type music? Looking for a place for grandchildren to dance(ages 3-8)

Not smokey but the easiest way to get there is thru the casino.

 

Usually it's filled with those doing trivia, and some musicians.

 

There might be more room at RedFrog when music is playing.

Yes, we were there in the early evening when there was a singer. It had not turned into a bar scene. My husband and I played table - top shuffle board, dominoes and Foosball with our kids (12 and 14, but younger would have been fine)

The Ocean Plaza is not smoky and seems kid friendly. One evening I saw a karaoke event going on there, and young kids were on the stage singing. If you are ok with taking your kids to the family comedy show, then the plaza activities should be okay too.
