Rostock Private Tour

Recommended Posts

I've got to be honest, in all the years In all the years I have been on this site, this is the first time this question has been asked. Sorry, but I have not heard of any. I'm sure some one may know of one, maybe Anni.

Cheers

Do you think we would miss anything by doing Rostock DIY?

Thanks.

OK

I did a bit of research for you, went over to Trip Advisor and found this

I don't know anything about but check over on Trip Advisor and you might get some recommendations.

If you really want you need to either hit the library or just Google Rostock and you will find a wealth of info on what there is to see. You have to understand just because things are listed, they may not be to your tastes. Rostock is very easy to do on your own. It is very compact, easily walkable and a lot of fun.

We had some sort of walking map that was posted several years ago by another CC member who was from Germany. (sorry the name escapes me). We did the sort of ferry from Warnemunde to Rostock. I'm not sure if the schedule is the same but the last ferry back to Warnemunde was about 3:30 so it is not a long day in Rostock.

It is a charming city. We did some souvenir shopping there, had lunch in the town square and just wandered about a bit.

here are a few of my pixs from this nice city.

Part of the main shopping area

One store we found very cute (guess what they were selling?)

Main Square. A nice place to just sit and relax and have a bite to eat

A magnificent chocolate éclair we stopped for (got to have pix of everything)

A few buildings around the city
