Snorkel after Turtles?

Hello -

We plan to take a bus to go see the turtles (per 5 year old's request). I thought we'd do the 'short' tour.

Afterwards, the rest of us want to snorkel.

Where should we go for beginner's snorkeling from the shore? And do we have time? In port 8-4.

I think I have narrowed it to these options:

Smith Cove

Reef ball project by Marriott at 7 Mile beach

Stay at Turtle Farm and do the snorkeling there in the lagoon)

I'd love to get ideas from those that have been there.

Many thanks!

smith's cove is all the way south from the t' farm, and the bus does not go there

(schedule says it does, but locals say don't count on it)

great place but you'd have to taxi from town or walk and on your plan probably not the best fit for you
