Guarantee cabin when do they allocate?

Booked a guarantee outside cabin in allure for May 19th, never done that before, when do they usually allocate the cabins? Any ideas?

There's no usual time. It can be anytime between now and the day you board the ship.

We booked a gty on the April Allure transatlantic two weeks ago and had our cabin # that same day. I was even able to get our TA to change cabins for us since there were a few of the same category that were not connecting, which our original assigned cabin was.

Booked a guarantee at 5pm on Friday 6th March and was allocated yesterday 9th March - that was very quick.

 

Previous guarantee took around 2 weeks.

I booked one 3 weeks out from a cruise and was told I would get the allocation after about a week... Checked four hours later and it was on there!

 

Like everyone has said though, it really can vary.
