Final Payment Email

I got an email from Carnival this AM telling me that final payment is due VERY shortly. I know its crazy, but for some reason dishing out a few thousand dollars makes me so excited lol!!! :D:D:D

I am glad to hear that:

 

1)Carnival is sending reminders. That has not always been the case.

2)Your cruise will be pain in full.

3) You will celebrate your birthday in style.

 

Not to hijack your thread but does anyone know if this is a new policy? There are pages here filled with complaints that final payment was missed and cruise was cancelled.

I received an email, too, letting me know that if it wasn't paid it would be automatically cancelled.

I also received an email several weeks before final payment was due. I'm glad they're sending automated warning emails now.

 

And yes, it's a great feeling knowing your cruise is that much closer. :D

Nope. Final payment is due Monday and I've not received an email. However, my PVP called yesterday to check in and remind me.

In six Carnival cruises, this is the first I have seen. It scared the crap out of me. I had to keep checking my final payment due and make sure I did not forget to pay :o. I just went ahead and paid it off :p. Due date is next week.

 

And, I too can breathe easy knowing the only thing I have left to do is pack and cruise!

I got an email the first week in January reminding me about final payment that was due at the end of the month.

 

Not that I didn't have reminders set up all over already, but one more never hurts

I got the same email last week reminding me that my payment was due at the end of the month. I'm paying it this weekend. My drinks are paid, hotel paid, and excursions almost paid. Hopefully only thing I'll need to pay for are my gratuities. 93 more days.....
