Hi there - so they didn't say anything about the shorts in the main dining halls or specialty restaurants? We are cruising next week and we called about dress code for guys and we were told that in all but the cafes and buffet pants and collared shirts were required no short allowed....

The official policy posted outside the dining room on all RCI ships is no shorts, no sleeveless shirts (singlets) for men, and no flip flops. There is no rule about collared shirts, t shirts are fine.

 

This policy is for evening - shorts are allowed at lunch.

 

Enforcement of these rules varies widely! I saw men being allowed with shorts on Radiance in January, I had never seen it before. Some CC members have reported seeing people being asked to go and change, others say they regularly wear shorts with no problems.

If the ship has a Freestyle machine, there are over 100 flavors, including some that are not carbonated. Without a Freestyle machine, it's just soda.

Juice (not fresh squeezed), milk, regular coffee, lemonade, hot tea and iced tea are included in your cruise fare.

 

If you want fresh squeezed juice and specialty coffee (cappuccino, latte, espresso drinks) the royal replenish package includes these plus soda and bottled water - it's $19 per day plus gratuity.

What day and time was the 70's party? Was it on Day 5 (Phillipsburg)?

 

Also, what day/time is the glow party? Was it on day 6 (formal night)?
