St. Kitts Catamaran sail & Nevis Beach

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Looking to get some information on Royal Caribbean excursions in St. Kitts

Interested in the Catamaran sail & Nevis beach. The website states its 4 1/2 hours long and $100 each

Worth the money? nice beach/snorkeling?

I will be on my honeymoon. My Fiance and I are in our 20's

any pictures would be great too!

Thank you!!

IMHO, I took this excursion in December, the ride out and back was nice on the catamaran. As far as the beach, I would just rate it as fair while the snorkeling I would call poor. I saw (1) plain fish, (1) star fish, (1) golf ball and (2) tin cans. The bottom is bland, sand and seaweed, no coral. I tried on both sides of where the catamaran ties off. I would not book again.

What are your other ports?

George

Only 4 1/2 hours so not sure because the cats excursions we've taken to Nevis have always been longer.

Consider in that short of a time you'll mostly be sailing with little time for snorkeling (not so good anyway) and the beach (lovely).

Look up Blue Water Safari.. post something on your Roll Call group and see if you can get a group together.

They are a lot of fun. They take you near a ship wreck. Its a old tanker, so nothing special. However its fun. They rum and dine you as well. In fact from start to finish the booze flows free on the trip. Nice people.

Plus you get a nice scenic water tour.

I think overall St. Kitts is not ideal for snorkeling.

They pull up fairly close, about knee deep and you walk to shore..

That's the way it's always been for the ones we've taken there as well.

A crew member will hold and carry beach bags and also help those who need it.
