Best and worst experiences with the Haven

Just looking at getting some first hand pros and cons, we will be in the Haven on the Jade I would like comparisons on the smaller to larger havens such as is the ambiance different, service better or worse and so on.

I have been in the courtyard on the Gem and it was probably the best cruise I have ever been on, although it was in September and there weren't any children.

 

I have also been in the Haven, on the Epic. Although I am sailing on the Epic (Haven) in April, the Haven on the Epic is much bigger. It's not that the Haven is too big, it's the fact that nearly everybody in a cabin with the word suite in it, gets access. In my opinion, for what it's worth, NCL should keep the Haven exclusive to the Haven courtyard villas (as well as POSH).

 

I would stick with the smaller ships for the perfect suite experience. The Haven on the Epic is good but the Haven on the smaller ships is the experience that you'll be looking for.
