I don't know if it is the best, but in February I was in 8172 on Infinity. It was standard aft, the veranda was great, the cabin steward (Leroy) was very good. He was non-intrusive, but saw to my every need which included a few extra things.

With the cabin numbers of the aft cabins in hand, scroll through the Sticky at the top of the forum about M Class cabins.

Good information about all M Class staterooms from real cruisers.

please share! looking to book in the not too distant future....
Which is "best" comes down to a matter of personal preference, like most things. ;)

Some passengers really like the concierge aft cabins on the stern overlooking the wake, which have very deep balconies. Those have been described as having a tunnel or box view when looking out from the cabin because the views to both sides are blocked off by deep dividers. But you get wide, sweeping views out closer to the railing.

Others think the "best" concierge cabins are the ones in "suite land" among the top suites. Those have nice, extra large balconies that are not as deep, so you get wider views looking out from the cabin without the "tunnel" effect.

They are located in the quiet aft area of deck 6 that gets the top stateroom attendants and butlers.

Those concierge cabins are not technically entitled to the amenities of the surrounding suites, but they are often provided there anyway, especially if you are friendly to the butlers.

Your comments are exactly why we booked the "suite land" concierge stateroom 6144 for our Infinity Alaska 5/15/15 11-night round trip San Francisco cruise. Hoping to "smooch up" to the butlers for the extra bennies!!!!
