When is the best time to ask for an upgrade? My ship sails 3/29 and I'm in a balcony. What kind of upgrade should I ask for also?

Since its past final payment I don't think you're entitled to an upgrade. Have prices dropped ? You might get a small OBC.

Before you call your TA I would check and see how much you paid and the type of room you have. Then look and see what is available and the price difference. If the price difference is less than you paid call your TA and see if they can upgrade you. If the room you want has reduced to a price difference you are willing to pay you can do that too.
