Silhouette adjacent balcony dividers

We are 3 couples looking at a Silhouette sailing - if we are mid-ship, can we get adjacent rooms and have the balcony dividers removed to make one big balcony? Also we are all couples - will we be able to book adjacent cabins (thru Celebrity) or will the cruise line want to hold back the cabins that accommodate 3 or 4 persons? It is a fall sailing, not holiday time so I would think there would be few families onboard that wanted these 3 / 4 person rooms.

Hi suec12,

I believe the only cabins the Celebrity might "hold back" would be accessible cabins (unless you need one) and the family cabins. All other categories are up for grabs and if you can find 3 cabins together that you want, I'm sure you won't have any trouble booking them regardless of the number of passengers they will accomodate. We have 4 balcony cabins in a row booked on Equinox.

With respect to the balcony dividers, you can ask your room stewarts to open them for you.

Enjoy your cruise.

Only cabins with the bed by the bath can sleep 3/4, you will need to look for cabins with a square and/or a triangle on the deck plan. The cabins in the middle can only sleep two (bed by balcony) so keep that in mind. Also the dividers only open about half way, so it won't be one huge balcony but will connect.

  • 4 weeks later...

We were on Silhouette in March with 3 adjacent cabins (grandparents in one), (parents in next - with children in the connecting cabin).

We had the balcony dividers open among those 3 cabins and it made it nice for everyone to go back and forth for visiting, as well as hanging out on the big balcony.

When we got to the cabin and met our room steward he took care of the 3 balcony dividers and the door in the hallway - which created a vestibule and made 2 cabins connecting.
