NCL Splash Academy on port days

If your child isn't potty trained, one adult would be required to stay on the ship. Aside from that, you will be fine if you choose to leave the ship. Our backup plan if our tours were a disaster for our son was to leave him on the ship; thankfully, he really loved going on tours and we used the kids club only during port time. If you can schedule private tours, your child might be happy, but it is good to know you have a backup plan if things don't work out, or if you want to do an excursion that children aren't allowed to participate in.
