The cabins that have routine complaints of temperature are the aft facing balcony cabins. It seems that the way the ships dock (and this was true of all three ships when NCL had them out there), the sun was always directly through the balcony door, and this tended to heat up the cabins. If you close the drapes when not in the cabin, this problem goes away.

Just got off the POA last week. Our 8th floor balcony AC was fine. In fact, we even got cold. But you could control the thermostat on your own. Great cruise!! Will say we spent little time exploring ship. Too tired from excursions. Hawaii is beautiful. Do not miss Volcano National Park!
