joeyancho Posted March 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2015 The Crown offers the Crab Shack two nights on a seven day cruise. It is held in the Caribe buffet area. It is listed in the Patters. I have not been.

Stand by to be insulted for having a negative opinion. :) One thing I don't understand -- on the signs for the crab shack, it says things like "if you enjoy fresh seafood..." Certainly most, if not all of the crab is frozen?

IECalCruiser Posted March 29, 2015 #8 Share Posted March 29, 2015 We have had the Crab Shack on the Grand and the Crown. Both times we found it enjoyable for the $20/person fee. As others have posted, on the Crown it will be held in half of Cafe Caribe several evenings during the week. You can call the DINE line for the days and make reservations. I suggest reservations because the night we went there it was fully booked and walk-ons were turned away. The Grand had snow crab while the Crown had king crab. On the Grand we were given one shared pot of crab and shrimp and were able to order more crab to get our fill. The snow crab legs were split for easy access. On the Crown we both got an individual pot and we had more than our fill without needing to ask for seconds. The king crab legs were not split but proper tools were provided.
