Rare georgiacat Posted March 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2015 We are on the Brilliance of the Seas Baltic cruise in June, 2015. I'm looking at the ship's excursions. I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the "Panoramic Stockholm and Vasa Museum" and the "Panoramic...with Central Transfer", besides the obvious (I guess) ending point of Central Station vs the ship? With the Central Station do you get dropped off in town and make your own way back to the ship, or is it for people getting on a train/plane/bus etc. to travel to other cities? Has anyone taken either of these excursions?
PNW Traveler Posted March 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2015 Panoramic tours are usually bus tours designed for sightseeing. Many cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean, offer half day tours on debarkation day that end either at the airport or the central train station. These tours are helpful for those who wish an excursion at the end of their cruise before they depart for home. We've done the debarkation tours from Southampton in England. It was nice to have our luggage loaded at the pier and held on the bus until we arrived at our transfer point.
