THEME CRUISE ON CARNIVAL TRIUMPH 11/27/04

Hi Fellow cruisers:

 

I was wondering if the Carnival Triumph has become a theme cruise on the 11/27/04 sailing. All over the net and Carnival's site had this sailing as of Monday 6/14/04 at bargain basement prices and now its top dollar. In calling Carnival they stated that Clear Channel had bought alot of the boat and I was wondering if the theme cruise would push out the other people on the boat that did not buy in the theme. Any comments or suggestons?

We are on that cruise and wondered the same thing. There is going to be a "rock n'roll" group consisting of Journey, Styx, and REO Speedwagon. Check out the site http://www.journeymusic.com for more info on this. Apparently there will be 3 concerts that week, tentatively Monday, Wednesday & Friday in the Rome Lounge. What will happen to the regular shows is a mystery, but I'd like to know.

 

I was wondering the same thing as you so I call my PVP and was assured that our booking is secure.
