Bring wheelchair

I am bringing my wheelchair on the ship for me to use. I do not need it all the time but, I get tired easily . Can I still do self departing? I have done it in the past 6 carnival cruises but, unfortunately I have medical issues where I no longer able to stand, walk for long time. I almost died last yr without one going to Aruba walking. It suck. Thanks

As long as you do not need the help of a Carnival employee to help you off the ship I think the answer is yes but I am not 100% sure

By self departing do you mean self-assist, where you take your luggage at the end of the cruise? If so, then you have to be able to handle all your luggage by yourself. Carnival employees are not supposed to help with self-assist, nor should they have to. If you cannot handle all your luggage alone, then it's best that you put your luggage out your door on the last night.

Me and my husband cuise together- we carry one luggage between us. So yes it would be self- assist. We pack light.
