capnlars Posted April 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2015 We have booked an 11 day Caribbean cruise under the Anniversary Sale Promotion. For this promotion we get an $800 onboard credit "for shore excursions". Do they restrict this to shore excursions only, or will it just show up as a credit on our onboard account (that in theory we can use for any onboard expense)? Thanks in Advance Larry
grayjay Posted April 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2015 It clearly states in the small print that the OBC must be used for shore excursions only.

Thanks in Advance Larry Hard to say for certain. Its SUPPOSED to be used only for shore excursions, but in the real world of HAL onboard accounting its hard to say how it will work out. IMO, it could even vary by ship! Since I am very conservative about these things, I would plan on using it for excursions (do something that I would not do otherwise due to cost). That way you are safe. Edited April 1, 2015 by DaveOKC
