Verizon rewards cards are back!

Have had no luck with Verizon but I was able to snag gift card on AARP last night

 

Do you need rewards points?

I was able to buy a few as well!! I have used the Carnival GC the past three cruises and have never had a problem applying them to my cruise or my S&S account onboard.

Good to know. I will plan on applying these to my S&S then! I have 11 months until I cruise so I have plenty of time to collect a few ;);)

Just got $1200 worth to pay August cruise off coming due in June!!!! YEAH[emoji41] I also have my sign n sail card covered for my May cruise on the Valor, $550, with my Cheers card included. Thanks for posting they were available, cruisers helping cruisers!!!

Restricted to using them towards your s&s, paying on your cruise balance, and purchasing excursions. The only thing you can't use them for is bon voyage purchases, but you can't use any gift card for that-even if you just get the regular ones online or in stores. Otherwise no restrictions. Just like using cash.

Restrictions??? Your thinking about the Cruise Bucks/Dollars I believe. Those if you don't use them up you don't get a refund, BUT you can load the remaining balance on your SNS card and cash it out in the casino for any monies left...the cards you buy from Verizon are just like CCards loaded or Gift Cards bought, you can use them just like cash, except your saving 10% when you purchase them. It's a win/win situation, plus if you get rewards for using your credit card to purchase the cards from verizon you get those also, we love the double dip saving.. 18 days till SHIP AHOY!!!

I think I have a handle on it now. I use 1000 of my points, and the $100 carnival card costs me $90.

I don't know what reviews the poster is referring to saying they are restricting. At one time early on there was some confusion about not being able to use them towards your balance if booked through a TA, but the disclaimer they had before about that is gone. I'm booked through a TA and have paid for just about my entire fare using these cards. The certificates for Carnival that Verizon used to sell haven't been on their page for months. Now those are restricting. Not these gift cards.

I just purchased some $100 ones. The $500 are sold out. The other 3 times I got them by mail it took 5-6 days. I had to sign for the $500 ones, but not the $100 ones.
