kbw1947 Posted April 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Can anyone tell me how the sofa in this room sleeps? Is it adequate for an adult female? Any comments on this room with the aft wrap balcony? Leaving in September out of PR. We will have 3 in the cabin. Thanks for any replies.
k2excursion Posted April 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2015 (edited) It would seem to me that you have either 6452 or 6483. The sofabed is the same size as one of the ship's regular twin beds. Same length, 32" wide instead of 33". So there shouldn't be any problems with the size. The sofas do tend to be a little more firm than the regular beds. The older beds are softer & more comfortable. If they have been changed out for your particular room in the last few years, then they will be harder. The seat of the sofa is the bed. The back cushions are removed & sheets are put over the seat. You can see pics of the sofa as a sofa (without sheets put over it) on cruiselinerooms dot com. Pull up Liberty & look at the pics from room 6483. Even if you have the other one, 6483 will basically be the same thing. You can also look at Freedom under both rooms (the only other ship which has a sofa in these 2 rooms). There are views of the sofas in at least 1 pic on each of those. Edited April 3, 2015 by k2excursion
michiganredrose Posted April 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2015 We had a sofa bed on our Liberty cruise last week. My son's 6'0, 220 pound best friend slept on it and never had any complaints. It was the same size as all the other beds in the room and he said it was comfortable.
Rare Jamman54 Posted April 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2015 (edited) This was taken in our aft wrap on the Splendor. My son Ryan, who was 6'5" at the time, had no problem sleeping on the sofa bed. Edited April 3, 2015 by Jamman54
