St. Tropez Market

The market is held on Tuesday and Saturday from 8am until a little after noon (technically until 1pm but many vendors start to pack-up around noon). It is right in the Place de Lices which is near the center of town. It is a typical local Marche which I would call decent, but not particularly fantastic. The market vendors actually make their living moving around from place to place as most towns in Provence/Cote d'Azur (and France) have a market day. When we stay in Provence we usually keep a paper on our fridge with the various market days and will drive over to a nearby market when we need to buy something. We can usually find a marche Tuesday - Sunday but Monday's are the one day when markets seem to not exist (except in Nice).

Now the question you have not asked is where is the best market. And that would be the Sunday morning market at L'Isle Sur La Sorgue which is not only the best market in all of Provence, but is arguably one of the 2 best markets (the other being in Paris) in all of France.
