princess tu tu Posted April 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2015 Newbie here to NCL, Wondering how many pages are in your package of E docs? Printing for 2 separate bookings, don't want to run out of ink! Many Thanks!
MandyMommyof2 Posted April 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2015 Hoping you don't mind that I join in to see what others say. :) I have to print off ours in a little under 3 months and will be printing for 4 people.
TrumpyNor Posted April 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Newbie here to NCL, Wondering how many pages are in your package of E docs?Printing for 2 separate bookings, don't want to run out of ink! Many Thanks! I believe that it is 6-7 pages for each cabin (not per person), the most important ones are page 1-2-3 if I remember correctly (cruise ticket, one for you to keep and one for the check-in staff). Scotchick Posted April 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I have checked in, but my printer is broken. I believe they can print this up at the dockside. Is this correct?
Big Al B. Posted April 8, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I have checked in, but my printer is broken. I believe they can print this up at the dockside. Is this correct? I'm not sure, but I think the only thing you can get dockside is luggage tags.

alkemist Posted April 8, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 8, 2015 On the Jewel, for one cabin and 2 passengers, it printed out 5 pages. I only need a physical copy of "Guest Ticket Contract to be presented for passage", which was page 1 for me to give to the check-in clerk. The other pages are just for your own copy, along with your itinerary and an optional bonus page to turn in on the ship if you want to put an advance down on your next cruise. I also made sure to "print to PDF" of the edocs and placed it on my phone in case I needed a backup.
JohnIreland Posted April 8, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Just printed mine at 5 pages. But you nothing necessary on the last two pages if ink is tight.
JohnIreland Posted April 8, 2015 #9 Share Posted April 8, 2015 And don't forget your luggage tags at 1 page each as well.

hawkeyetlse Posted April 8, 2015 #11 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I think you can get on without the e-docs -- just takes longer.I haven't printed e-docs for years, just save them on my iPad and have them loaded up and ready to show to whoever asks (including CBP officials at US immigration). No one has ever seemed inconvenienced by the lack of a hard copy. Do they actually collect the print-outs at check-in on embarkation day? If so, I suspect they go straight in the recycling bin… They don't contain signatures or any other info that the cruise line doesn't already have at their fingertips. ilovetotravel1977 Posted April 8, 2015 #12 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Great idea on the save to PDF file! I just compiled all of my confirmations into one PDF (NCL confirmation, TA confirmation, UBP, OBC, Prepaid DSC) and saved it in my iBooks folder.
