Probably not, but the OP asked about seas, and weather.

Thank you for responding. I recently watched a Titanic special and there was information about a Labrador current that can affect a dramatic change in water temperature. I was thinking those circumstances would only happen in the far northern parts of the Atlantic.

Do water temperatures change a lot in two weeks?

Probably not, but the OP asked about seas, and weather.

Water temperatures s do not change rapidly, but seas & the weather can change daily & rapidly..

Cruiser Bruce is correct.. No one can predict what the seas & weather will be like even a week from now!

Weather forecasters are good predictor's, but are often wrong..

We've been boaters for the past 25 years & even the weather reports we get on our ship's radio from NOAH are often wrong for the area in which we sail.. We'll go out on a clear sunny day & three hours later be hit by a storm at sea..

My DH will rarely turn back, but one night when we were crossing from Carrabelle, Fla. across the Gulf to Tarpon Springs, Fla. a terrible lightning storm came up.. I was asleep & woke up to hear DH & my Friend's DH (on another boat) on their radio's discussing if they should turn back or not.. DH called me & asked me to come into the cockpit immediately & take the wheel, so he could disconnect the radio & auto pilot.. Fortunately we were able to get through the lightning storm without problems, but it was very iffy..

Therefore we plan for the worst weather & are happy when it's lovely..
