Throughout the hilly metropolis on the Tagus River, fading structures and spaces are being stylishly reborn. Once-forlorn neighborhood markets have undergone ambitious renovations. Dodgy docklands boom with emergent night life in multiple guises. Even the city’s dowdy, underused central square and adjacent waterfront have been spruced up for lounging and strolling. The city’s classic historical charms, from art museums to industrialists’ mansions, remain beautifully intact, complementing their rejuvenated neighbors." While we have been 22 different countries in Europe, Portugal is still on our to-do, wish-list. Look forward to seeing Lisbon!! Dom Peres Posted April 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2015 It's kinda of cliché, as usual, you know. It's difficult to tell you what to do, because first we don't know your tastes, and second if we were all alike, we always do the same things. Among others aspects, it's highly unlikely that one is crazy enough to travel all the city often to go to Mercado da Ribeira just to eat what they mentioned. Occasionally, yes, but Lisbon doesn't work that way and i hope never will be. Regarding food, for instance, in general terms you can eat quite well in all areas of the city.
