Cruising Asia in July? Too hot & humid?

Sorry for the shorthand. Yes, I'm trying to decide on a cruise in July. My husband enjoys sitting at the pool on sea days. Is the weather in HK, Korea, Japan too rainy & scorching hot to enjoy the pool and ports properly?

You may be rather miserable, especially since you are from BC. The humidity in HK will make you feel like you need a shower every 1/2 hour. The smog will be INTENSE in HK. Whether it rains or not (it probably will) is up in the air.

I travel to Asia frequently for business. Have been there every month except a couple in early summer. Am NOT going again to China/Hong Kong/Vietnam ever again during the summer. Just a plain miserable experience, IMHO.

Japan will be humid and pretty warm (high 80's) and I have only been to Korea once, so can't advise. Please be aware that a lot of Japanese locals travel during July and early August due to their school year timing, so some spots of interest may be very crowded.
